IWD Event - March 2nd, 2006: The event
brought together 250-300 people to celebrate and enjoy our
guest speaker NANCY WHITE, Canada’s Queen of the Topical Song.
This event raised money for the International Projects Zonta
sponsors throughout the world to improve the status of women
in third world countries.

On May 25, 2005, we held our seventh
annual Zonta Classic women only golf
tournament, to raise funds for research and treatment
of breast cancer. This fun-filled day of scramble golf and
gourmet food, along with silent auction that must not be
missed! It is one of seven Zonta golf tournaments in Ontario,
which have raised over one and a half million dollars for
breast cancer.

Zonta Club of Oakville has been a strong supporter of
Wellspring Cancer Support Center in Oakville. This plaque was
given to thank us for all the money contributed to help build
Wellspring, and will remain a fixture at
Wellspring. |
